Stay Healthy

On the subject of appearance—you are what you eat. The correct nutrition not only keeps you healthy, it makes you look good! So watch what you eat and when you eat.

-->Do eatyour breakfast. Without breakfast, you are more likely to get fat, since you will eat more during lunch. To reduce the number of meals, you can skip dinner.

-->Keep a food diary so you know what your intake is and also take note of the “little extras”. As I have mentioned, eat more vegetables and fruits, which supply vitamins and fibers but contain low calories.

These tips together with a few pointers on exercise and rest well will make your day.

-->Exercise regularly. If you like sports, you can invite friends over to play basketball or soccer. These are whole-body-exercises, burning calories throughout your body.

-->Keep mobile after having meals, since this will encourage fat to settle in your belly and buttocks.

-->Keep a regular schedule of work and rest. Irregular habits may cause health problems and lead to obesity as well.

Choose to be health today!

Pimples

PIMPLES! The bane of a teen’s life. Are pimples a necessary part of a teenagers’ life? Not at all. Some teens do not have a single pimple. Here are some tips on avoiding pimples.

Firstly, you need to clean your face regularly twice a day. This takes care of personal hygiene and removes the dead skin cell on our faces due to skin renewal. The dead skin actually blocks pores and this blockage can lead to pimples.

Secondly, drink enough water every day and eat more vegetables as well as fruits. A lot of useful fibers are contained in vegetables and fruits. Fibers and water can help to eliminate toxins inside our bodies. Pimples can be a reflection of the presence of toxins.

Thirdly, keep a positive biological clock, which means do not stay up often. Some of the toxins are removed by our organs during deep sleep. Try to schedule your tasks so that you do not stay up for the projects which need to be handed in the next morning.

Overall, keep a healthy diet and get enough sleep. Follow these steps and you may keep the dreaded pimples at bay.

Fast Foods

Let’s talk about food first. I believe that most teenagers like to eat fast food, like McDonald’s. After such a set meal, do you feel bloated and lazy? Fast food causes weight gain and brings acne. Actually, the results caused by fast food are more than these.

According to statistics, trans fats and saturated fats found in fast foods contribute to heart disease. This is a severe problem. Saturated fats raise the level of total cholesterol, while trans fats increase not only the level of total cholesterol but also consume good high density lipoprotein cholesterol, which is supposed to remove harmful cholesterol from arteries and transport them to the liver. Hence, another severe problem appears: liver damage. The liver needs to break down the fats for energy. However the liver is not able to catch up with the high fat levels of the fast foods. So the fats infiltrate the liver finally and damage the liver.
The consequences of eating too much fast for are not just health problems. Something else is related to bad eating habits: you appearance. Next we talk about the skin problem that affects many teenagers—Pimples.
